East of India ミソサザイ 木製オーナメント

Picked this up for a friend who loves birds, and the rustic wood grain on the tiny wren feels surprisingly smooth to the touch. It’s just the right size for a windowsill without taking up too much space.

The little carved feathers and perch are even more detailed in person, it’s such a sweet size for tucking onto a bookshelf. I’m already thinking about getting a second one.

I’ve had this on my windowsill for two weeks now and it still makes me smile every time I glance over. The handmade carving gives it a real character that flat decorations just don’t have, and the rustic paint job feels sturdy enough to last years.
